The Christchurch Golf Club has a range of facilities for the use of members and their guests.
Bar and Lounges
The Club has a large lounge for corporate events, a new bar and two areas where golfers can relax - the Dobson Gallery and Sir Bob Charles Long Room which both enjoy great views of the course and the 18th green.
Club Trophies
Club trophies, honors board and other memorabilia are displayed in the Sir Bob Charles Long Room. The feature exhibit is the actual golf clubs used by Sir Bob Charles when he won The Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St Annes in 1963.
Professional Shop
The personel in the Pro Shop offer excellent advice on all golf equipment, sell refreshments, clothing and other golfing products.
Before each game of golf, every player must register at the Pro Shop.
The Pro Shop also organises your golf score card and has the start sheets for the week ahead. Bookings further out than one week are to be made with the Office.
Locker Rooms
There are showers, towels and toilet facilities for men and women players with both having a large open plan locker/changing room.
Golf Practice Grounds
A practice fairway including distance markers with both grass and artificial turf hitting areas are provided to hit your own balls or a bucket of practice balls can be obtained from the pro Shop at a cost of $4.
A large practice green for putting and chipping with bunkers along with a driving net are also provided.
Golf Carts
The club has eight golf carts that can be rented from the Pro Shop. The ProShop is advised on a daily basis by the Course Superintendent if the course is is too wet for the use of golf carts.
Golf Equipment Cleaning
A compressed air hose is available for the cleaning of equipment and shoes after your game of golf.
Car Park
There are reserved car park areas near the Clubhouse for Board & Committee members, Management and the Pro Shop. All vehicles are parked at owners risk and the Club accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles whilst parked within the car park.
